Post It Notes

One of the most common things I hear from Substack writers is this:

“I know I should be using Notes more… but I don’t.”

Sometimes it’s overthinking, but sometimes it just feels like posting into the void.

The reality is that Notes works best when it’s used consistently, and consistency becomes much easier when there’s structure and early engagement.

So beginning next week, I’m introducing something new:

Post It Notes: A 30-Day Visibility Sprint

A structured noon CST rhythm designed to make showing up on Notes simple and repeatable.

We’ll run this as a focused 30-day sprint through March.

At the end of the month, we’ll evaluate what worked and what to refine.

How It Works

At noon CST, the Post It Notes chat opens for a focused 20–30 minute window.

During that time:

  • Post your Note on Substack

  • Drop the link in the chat if you’d like engagement

I’ll engage with every Note shared during the live window: whether that’s a like, a thoughtful comment, or a restack when appropriate.

Others are welcome to engage as well.

There are no quotas, required interactions, or performance pressure.

If you want to post and move on with your day, that’s completely fine.

If you’d like to engage more deeply, even better.

After the 20–30 minute session ends, I’ll step away. The chat remains open for several hours if you’d like to return later in the day.

Free Access

Post It Notes will be open to everyone on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

If you’ve been wanting a predictable rhythm for Notes, this gives you two anchor points each week.

Paid Access (Full Sprint Access)

Paid subscribers have access to Post It Notes Monday–Friday during the 30-day sprint.

This allows you to build a daily rhythm, which is where real visibility gains begin to compound.

Paid members also receive:

  • A weekly set of 3–5 prompt ideas

  • Prioritized engagement during live chat sessions

  • Full access to every sprint day

If you’ve been wanting more consistency and more visibility on Notes, this is the simplest way to build it.

This isn’t meant to be intense.

It’s meant to be sustainable.

If twice a week feels right, I’ll see you Tuesday.

If you’d like the full five-day rhythm and weekly prompts, you’re welcome to upgrade anytime.

We begin next week.

Note: After we’re started, I won’t send daily reminder emails. To stay consistent, consider installing the Substack app or setting a noon CST calendar reminder.
